Question Problems with PHP 5.3.3-7 extension=mysql.so - (Debian 6 (Squeeze))

I already installed mysql, PHP, Apache and for some reason the PHP compiled module for mysql is not working, the php.ini file does not have the option ´extension=mysql.so´ in Modules Settings, however I tried and got an Error. I need to find the file mysql.so to installed manually because I can´t use apt-get in my PC due to Proxies policies in my hometown and country. So I have to install every package with dpkg. Could someone please tell me where I can find this extension? Or Could someone give some advise on that?

Thanks

extension defined in /etc/php5/conf.d/mysql.ini for me
Code:
$ dpkg -S /etc/php5/conf.d/mysql.ini
php5-mysql: /etc/php5/conf.d/mysql.ini
