problems with Mozilla
 

I have mozilla 1.0 and mandrake 8.2 installed.
Sometimes it's stop working -frezes and after some time
it starts to work:(
The same situation is when I use Galeon
and Opera 6.2. Please help.

Would help but there is no error mesagge.It just stop working:(

Does this only happen when you are browsing, or when using any other program for prolonged periods of time? I am thinking maybe you have a cron running every so often, or something like that, which would sort of make you think that your system is freezing because it is suckin all your resources... Just an idea.

I have the same problem with my notebook, it does it in all programs and both in windows and linux, so i believe it is some kinds of hardware problem (for me though), maybe it´s the same for you. My notebook is with a celeron processor (desktop version) which a lot of heat, and the problem occur when it´s hot, check out if your computer get´s hot (have you overclocked it? )

I have pentium III 500 and it isn't overlocked. It happens when I
browse the websites.

When xmms is working - music is played this problem is , but when I shut down the xmms everything is ok.How I can fix it

Has anybody had 'install new theme' experiences with Mozilla? Right after I download it it show up in the available themes list; once I try to apply the new theme, it says 'changes will be applied after you restart Mozilla. So restart, only disappointed to see the old theme.. but hey you cant try that again.. the 'newly installed' theme has left no trace in the available themes anymore.

Do you guys know what file to hand edit.. maybe?

Use ESD ( Esound Daemon ) and use Esound output plugin for xmms.

You can start esd with

esd -nobeeps &

That theme is for an old version of mozilla then.
