Problems with Kpackage

Hi, I'm having some problems with Kpackage. First, I uninstalled some extra languages to free up some space, but, when I uninstalled them, the computer said there was just as much space on the HD. With only 24 megs left on the HD, freeing up this space is quite crucial. Also, I tried to uninstall VFLIB2 which is some japanese support program, and I don't know japanese so it is of no use to me, but when I try to uninstall it, Kpackage crashes. Any help would really be great. Thank you for your time.

try command line altenative
as root
rpm -qa|grep -i vflib
you'll see output of packages containing vflib in their package name
rpm -e package-you.wnat.to.uninstall

Okay thank you, I'll definitely give that whirl. Any idea on what the deal is with the uninstalls not freeing up space?? I really need to find out what that problem is because 24 megs isn't really a good amount of free space to have on a HD. Thank you for your time.

Will someone PLEASE help me with this space problem and the uninstalling packages with Kpackage not freeing up space? I really need help with it because the computer has such a hard time now that there is only 24 megs free on the HD. That's like not enough space for me to hardly put anything on it. I uninstalled so many language packages, there should be so much more free but uninstalled the packages had no effect, Please help me out if you have the time, thanks.
