problems with dpkg


Hi I know the basics for this, but thisone is over my head

Code:

so from a previous problem, i goto
Code:
cd /var/lib/dpkg/info
but find anything todo with libgnome-vfsmm-2.6-1c2a
has 0 bytes, ok problem found (the electric went off durring an upgrade)

now how to fix it? it won't reinstall, as it can't uninstall

ubuntu lucid beta2

found a way out of it find the broke ones, in /var/cache/apt/archives

and reinstall them!!

simples

thanks, i did similar, thet were in the archives folder, so installed them from there. worked!
