problems upgrading glib library
 

Hi.

I'm installing the Wellenreiter Wireless scanning software and upgrading my version of glib from v1.2 to v2.x to that required by one of its dependency programs - the Accessibility Tool Kit (atk)

I have compiled and installed the newer glib version but during compilation of atk it stills thinks I have the older version of glib.

I have two directories under /usr/lib namely /glib and /glib2.0 with one file in each. I have edited /etc/ld.so.conf and added the /usr/lib/glib2.0 entry and re-ran ldconfig to update the library cache. However atk still fails on the ./configure and instructs me to upgrade glib to >=2.0.0.

I'm new to this so missing something somewhere for sure.

Any suggestions?
