Unhappy Problems to run SHEETCAM on Ubuntu 14.04


Dear Forum
Does any Know how to install sheetcam progran on Ubuntu 14.04, since these flag apeared in screen ( URL "/home/leo/shetcam") is uncorrect )
( Have not ":" in URI.) when scrip file " Run-sheetcam "is click..

The scrip ;

#!/bin/sh
BASEDIR=$(dirname "$0")
cd "$BASEDIR"
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
":./SheetCamTNG-dev"

Any idea...? how to fix...?

Please use exact text messages as you see on screen (you can probably copy and paste it by mouse). Also use CODE tags (the # button on top of editor) when you paste these in post, to differentiate with your own text.

Tell how you installed this application. You should have menu entry in your Graphics menu - is there any errors when you click it?

If you go into terminal emulator and try to run "run-sheetcam", what is printed?

Hi eselix

Sorry for my dealay,

Well,.. happend that my 14.04 vertion is spanish, and here are attached ( JPG) the messange pop up in the screen:

Cording with web ( http://www.sheetcam.com/downloads) instructions just download a zip file , unzip it and run "Run-Sheetcam "File


as metioned before the file Scrip " Run-Sheetcam " have these:

But in Ubuntu 12.04 run beatiful but on 14.04 din't...?

I think it is something with your Ubuntu GUI configuration. I run this application on Kubuntu 14.04 without problem. Check if you can run it from console.

Wink Shettcam fix in ubuntu 14.04

Dear eselix

Thanks again for your replay, efectibily something happed with my 14.04 vertion.., since from console run beatifull the sheetcam application..., of course my focus main now is to do a bath file tu run well always..?
