Problems runing Maya on SUSE 8.1
 

I am tryign to run MAYA 4.5 with SuSE 8.1 .. I get this error

/usr/aw/maya4.5/bin/maya.bin: relocation error: /usr/aw/maya4.5/lib/libTranslators.so: undefined symbol: __dynamic_cast_2

Anybody seen this before ? :( .. it works with RH 8.0 .. but my Favorite distro is SuSE

i get the same error in Suse 8.1 , its annoying the hell out of me .......
RH 8.0 works for me-- but i cant stand that distro .. no offence (i dont want a flame war ;) )
my system is :
Athlon 1900+
Geforce3 (Hercules)
Shuttle nforce2 mobo
1GB of ram


anyone sorted this problem out ?
