Talking Problems installing SWISH++

Hi all,

I am trying to install SWISH++ on a Fedora 8.

running make I get this error:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/swish++-6.1.5/scripts'
/usr/local/bin/perl ../config/config.pl httpindex.in < ../config/config.mk
/bin/sh: /usr/local/bin/perl: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [httpindex] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/swish++-6.1.5/scripts'
make: *** [scripts/httpindex] Error 2
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have installed perl 5 and I know the issue is likely to be the shebang path *somewhere*

edit: I forgot to add, my perl is not installed in that dir but in /usr/bin so I just need to know where to edit to allow SWISH++ to find the perl binary

If anyone has installed SWISH++ on Fedora and know where the error is please advise =)

(I am not too familiar with Perl and am still learning so something obvious to you might be missed by me, please do point out if I missed something =))

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Just for posterity =)

in the dir where you placed the source,

./config/config.mk

inside config.mk, under " General stuff"

edit

"PERL:= /usr/local/bin/perl"

to your own perl executable path
