Question Problems installing NVU

I downloaded and installed NVU, in rpm format, meant for my system and I click on the icon to start it up and nothing happens, the only thin g I can think of is - does it have to be linked to firefox to run?
The firefox that I have installed is a new version that wasnt in an rpm, I downloaded as a straight tarball installer, any ideas?

NVU does not need to be link to FireFox and runs independent.

Try running NVU from the Terminal...

Either just:
nvu
or:
/usr/bin/nvu

This should at least give you some verbose output on what the problem might be.
