problems in custom desktop icons in kde and gnome
hi,
i made a new icons in my kde desktop. these icons are device icons (floppy, cd-rw, dvd-rom, and hard discs). they work perfectly in kde, but when i transfer to gnome, all i see are plain icons that are not linked to any device. when i click on those, all i can see is a text similar to a script. in other words, it does not work in gnome.
how can i do things in such a way that only kde sees my desktop icons and gnome won't?
btw, i am using mdk 9.2
