Problems Building 'fontconfig-2.6.0' - Segmentation Fault

Hello forum,

I am trying to build 'fontconfig-2.6.0' and I don't know how to proceed. Both './configure' and 'make' worked. However, when I 'make install' I obtain the following error.

Code:
/bin/bash: line 9: 15199 Segmentation fault (core dumped) /usr/local/bin/fc-cache -s -f -v
make[2]: *** [install-data-local] Error 139
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/clemenh/Desktop/fontconfig-2.6.0'
make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/clemenh/Desktop/fontconfig-2.6.0'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
If anyone could help me with this I would be much obliged.

Thanking you,
Harold Clements
