Problem with Wine

Hi

I'm having troubles with the Wine..

When i tryed to call a program, or just type "wine" in the console, the bash show me this:

"wine: lstat /tmp/.wine-root/server-302-6a235/socket : No such file or directory"

I don't know what is happening.. please help me

Thanks.

Try giving the full path of your wine version (wherever it resides within your distribution). Also, a little more detail would be helpful, e.g. what distribution you use etc. -> you might wish to edit your user panel.

yah that is somewhat of a bug in wine where it can't create a socket, but you could always try typing in terminal:
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5

if i had to guess you are using a newer distro, such as mdk9.1 or rh9 where these newer distros run new libraries that ""break"" wine....this is a slight workaround until wine fixes this
