after I installed and run stardict, it warned that no dictionary is loaded although i have already downloaded some dictionary and extract them to /usr/share/stardict/dic

Can anyone tell me how to add dictionary to stardict please ? Thanks in advance.

Question Same problem

Hi,

I am having the same problem.
I have downloaded/installed starDict and two dictionaries.
Installed the from the tar balls and from the rpm (in one case).
Still nothing. Even tried to change the permissions on the dic dir and all of it's subdirectories.

If you know how to get this thing to work.
Please let me know.

thanks

Jeffrey
