Problem with sound mixer (KMix)
 

Hello everybody!

I have Mandrake 9.1, KDE 3.1.0 and my sound system runs under ALSA. The thing is that once I set the sound levels with 'aumix', I can't modify them unles I use aumix again. I was used to KMix (that comes with KDE), but it seems unable to modify the volume (the slider is working, but the sound level doesn't change). I also can't control the sound volume from xmms, mplayer, and other programs that use sound. What should I do? I enabled aRTS, but nothing happened (after restarting the X server, of course).
