problem with running guest OS on VMware


i've updated vmware-workstation to 5.0.0-13124. after entering new serial number i'm trying to run operating system which i've installed on the previous version, but vmware says that it's encountering problem with connectiong to peer process. what should i do to run that OS on it again?
