Problem with resizing NTFS partitions (Gparted)

There is the error (gparted_details.htm) :
Code:
Resize /dev/hda1 from 19.53 GiB to 15.63 GiB ( ERROR )

check filesystem on /dev/hda1 for errors and (if possible) fix them ( ERROR )

ntfsresize -P -i -f -v /dev/hda1

ntfsresize v1.13.1 (libntfs 9:0:0)
Device name : /dev/hda1
NTFS volume version: 3.1
Cluster size : 4096 bytes
Current volume size: 20974428672 bytes (20975 MB)
Current device size: 20974431744 bytes (20975 MB)
Checking for bad sectors ...
Checking filesystem consistency ...
Accounting clusters ...
Cluster accounting failed at 16842 (0x41ca): missing cluster in $Bitmap
....
Cluster accounting failed at 4297040 (0x419150): extra cluster in $Bitmap
Filesystem check failed! Totally 478 cluster accounting mismatches.
ERROR: NTFS is inconsistent. Run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot it TWICE!
The usage of the /f parameter is very IMPORTANT! No modification was
and will be made to NTFS by this software until it gets repaired.
It asks to run chkdsk /f on Windows, but i have no Windows, fixing with ntfsfix also didn`t helped. Any ideas?

It might work if you run fsck. There are some flags to do it. Read the man of fsch (man fsck).

:P wow

if nothing else works, like really nothing else works, you could always borrow a windows cd from someone and use the recovery console on that to run fdisk...

That may not work either if the OP just has data partition(s). I'm pretty sure it will require a bootable Windoze system in a primary partition for the CD to boot to recovery console.
