Unhappy Problem with Peng!

First of all.. I dont know if this should be in the networking forum or not.. I figure I would start here, and if a mod feels if should be moved.. please move

second of all im a total Linux noob.. Imma windows guy.. but trying to switch over

Here is the deal. I have Penggy the latest version, whatever it is. Im running on RedHat v9.

Everything i think is configured correctly...

When i run penggy, it dials and it connects..

but as soon as I try to access something on the internet... it disconnects. At first I thought it disconnected as soon as I try and query DNS.. but this is not the case. I tried to ping an IP and it disconnected as well.

anyone have any ideas of what to try? Im going to post this on the peng forum as well.. but thought I would also try here!!

thanks
trey
