Problem with openJDK7


I installed openjdk7 along with openjre7 on Slackware64 -Current.But it's not working at all.

Where did you get your openjdk? Are you using Alien Bob's packages? They are for 13.37 or -current.

You should install only one of openjdk or openjre. Not both together! And, logout/login again after installing / upgrading the Java package.

Thanks guys for helping

@ brianL : Yes I am using Alien Bob's packages and they are for both 13.37 as well as for Current

@ Alien Bob : I removed both the packages and reinstalled only openJdk package and rebooted my system but still the same problem

Did you also remove the old Sun/Oracle Java package?

No, I didn't remove Sun/Oracle package but used upgradepkg to install openjdk
