problem with MPLayer


I use SUSE 9.3, I have download MPlayer-1.0pre7try2 and i have install it as the README file says.
When i run it, the video apperas in a line in the top of thescreen with bad analysis and repeat 9 times the same video.

It is very importand for me!

bad analysis? what's that meant to mean? i'd guess offhand you're not using a suiatble video output mode, try "-vo xv" under X windows. if that doesn't help then you really need to provide more information, e.g. the FULL console output when you run mplayer
