Problem with moving apticron to cron.weekly

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hello!

I've installed apticron on my Ubuntu 9.04 server.
I do not want apticron messages every day so I moved the apticron script from /etc/cron.daily to /etc/cron.weekly.

But even so I still keep getting messages daily. I've even restarted cron event through I don't think it should ne necessary.

What am I missing here?

regards
Klaus

I solved it myself!

I failed to see the /etc/cron.d/apticron file which is the one causing the daily runs.
Reconfiguring this file solved the problem!
