problem with kcheckpass & screensaver
 

Hi all,

I seem to be having a problem with my screensaver and I think it has to do with kcheckpass. Whenever I lock my screensaver, I cannot unlock it. I follow the logs and it looks like it is taking kcheckpass more than 10 seconds to authenticate the password (I am authenticating against our Active Directory). Since it is taking so long, the screensaver seems to be timing out and the prompt for the password just disappears and the machine stays locked.

Does anyone know if there is any way to speed this up, or even extend the timeout period or something?
