problem with kaffeine


hi there

i am facing this problem with kaffeine on kubuntu

each time i try to open a new file for 2nd time ,kaffeine crashes with this


(no debugging symbols found)
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".


i tried reinstalling xine lib , new .deb packages from debian aslo but the same problem persists

any suggestions??

Unfortunately, it seems as if kaffeine is buggy on Ubuntu (I also have the same problem on Debian). You can try taking a look at this thread at ubuntuforums.org - someone has made replacement kaffeine package, but I haven't tried it yet.

well after trying many options on kubuntu i came back to slackware

i will be trying that package out
