Memory :

512 mb DDR

And my problem is this :

I tried 2 install Suse 9.0 Pro ( from the same cd's that i used on the P2 400 mhz ) and i get a lot of errors like :

This looks like a problem with the IDE controller chip and/or the hard drive. Check the BIOS to make sure that the hard drive geometry is correct. If you are booting a CD-ROM on the same IDE controller chip then the problem is probably the hard drive or the BIOS/IDE controller/hard drive setup.

If you can boot a CD-ROM then try booting knoppix and see if you can do anything with the hard drive.

But there are some programs being installed.
only these errors came up, not all the packages are skipped.

it starts when the install is about 25% the the errors starts

Maybe the partition that you are installing to is too small.

Were the CDs (SuSE 9.0 and Mandrake 9.2) created from downloaded ISO images ?
If so, maybe there were errors during the burning process.

Also, you should try resetting the BIOS settings to the standard Default.

P.S. I checked the SuSE hardware database and you motherboard is fully supported.
