problem with install wimax module on ns 2.35 knudfl help me ;(

hi all..
ive installed ns2 2.35 on ubuntu 12.10..
when Im install module wimax, it show error..
then I find solution on google,and the problem is might about gcc..someone suggest me to use gcc 4.3 and ns2 2.31..bcz now my gcc is 4.7 n ms2 2.35..

so can I still install wimax module without change my ns2 n gcc version?

Welcome to LQ.

Installing the default Ubuntu 12.10 compilers :
$ sudo apt-get install g++-4.4 g++-4.5 g++-4.6

Usually gcc-4.4 / g++-4.4 are used for ns-allinone-2.35 :
$ export CC=gcc-4.4 CXX=g++-4.4 && ./install

Which version of Wimax are you trying to use ? Versions are :
wimax802.16, (wimax-awg), wimax-lwx, wimax-nist, wimax-QoS, wimax-2.03.
( There's an older version too : wimax-1.02 ).
AFAIK, only wimax-lwx works with ns-2.35 .

ahh so theres only one module that can suit for ns 2.35?

if I wanna make QoS simulation wimax with mobile node n BS, which module that are you suggest for me sir..?and whats version ns2 that will be work with that module?
