Flash player doesn't work for me either. I rarely find any flash animation that I want to see; usually it's ads or rubbish, so it doesn't worry me.

Flash works just fine for me. Although I use NoScript in Firefox to block it on most sites.

Try using the Flash package that comes with the distro you are using.

Also you might want to add the distro you are using to your profile so people know the best way to help you.

I'm using Firefox 2 and I installed the plugin for Flash 9.0. Its kind of works but its sooooo slow. Its takes yahoo several minutes to load and when I click on Bookmarks it kind of hangs up waiting for the page to try to finish loading. So has anyone encountered this issue? Mandriva 2006.
