Problem with dbus

I keep finding the following in my log files:

Code:
2010-11-14 16:31:32,156 [server.ERROR] cannot start systen DBus service: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory

I have tried reinstalling dbus via YUM and this above file is still missing? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I tried the command you posted and received the following:

Code:
/usr/bin/dbus-uuidgen --ensure
-bash: /usr/bin/dbus-uuidgen: No such file or directory
