problem with ./configure


hi all,
I am new to this group
i have a problem installing nmap on my system actually i can do it using rpm but i am tryin to do it unzipping the files and trying to ./configureand so on here are my steps

1. bzip2 -cd nmap-3.50.tar.bz2 | tar xvf -
2. cd nmap-3.50
3. ./configure
2. make
4. make install

i am having a problem in my 3rd step when i am trting ./configure I am getting an error like this
checking for type of 6th argument to recvfrom()... configure: error: Cannot find type for 6th argument to recvfrom()

I ll be glad if any on can guide me into solving this
