Problem with Boot CD

Well, I recently downloaded Ubuntu, but I'm having problems booting off the disk. I copied the files I downloaded with windows CD wizard, but my computer just doesn't want to boot off it. Is there anything I should do in the process of making the disk? I did specify my computer at startup to boot off the CD drive, but it just goes ahead and runs the current OS. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Did you "burn from iso" (or something like that)? Or did you simply put the .iso file on the CD. Open the CD and see if you see multiple file/folder, or just the .iso file. If the latter, then you have been caught in a very common trap..
