problem with bbconf

i use blackbox on my system at work and use bbconf for the configurations. i had just started using it this week and it worked great until yesterday. when i try to fire it up i get the message "Segmentaion Fault". so i did a make uninstall and make clean and then rebuilt it. worked great 2 times and then the same thing. so once again i tried to rebuild it only now I get the same thing everytime. Our company has it's own distro but it's based off of redhat 8 just in case that matters.
