problem with apt get


when i wanna make update to apt-get this was the answer
root@arabian:/# apt-get update
Err file: ./ Packages
File not found
Ign file: ./ Release
Failed to fetch file:/var/cache/apt/archives/./Packages.gz File not found
Reading Package Lists... Done
W: Couldn't stat source package list file: ./ Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/_var_cache_apt_archives_._Packages) - stat (2 Nosuch file or directory)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

and now i cannot use apt-get what shall i do????????

Try delete or comment that mirror in your /etc/apt/sources.list file. Maybe that mirror went black or your line in /etc/apt/sources.list is wrong.
