Problem when running J2EE in red hat linux


i have installed the j2ee platform follow the instruction from sun web site. however after setting all the environment variables,i can run the j2se sdk,but when running j2ee,error occur :

/usr/java/j2sdkee1.3.1/bin/j2ee: line 14: /java/re/jdk/1.3.1_02/latest/binaries/linux-i386/bin/java: No such file or directory

Have you gone to this location:

/java/re/jdk/1.3.1_02/latest/binaries/linux-i386/bin/java

Was the file there?

If not, then, that's your problem...as simple as that.

the problem is i don't know why i need this /java/re/jdk/1.3.1_02/latest/binaries/linux-i386/bin/java file as the java installation instruction never mention it.i even don't know how to set this thing up.

Any1 can help???

OK but regardless of if you do or don't know why you need it....somewhere along the line it is asking for that file and apparently without it, it won't work. I would suggest to either re-install it (quickest) or go to:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/index.html

and try it again from scratch...

If it still doesn't work...well, come back and we'll see what we can do for you.
