problem to viewing fonts in pdf's program
when i try to view some pdf files ,they appeare as points and i can't read the document
how can i solve that
let me ganeralize the question:
where xpdf (or other pdf's program) gets its fonts from to view the document and what's the usefull
of ghostscript.....and how can i add a font to allow xpdf -or other programs- use it
Have you tried KPDF or Acrobat's Reader? I have never had problems with these viewers.
Fonts in Linux is a not so easy to understand subject I think. Every distro has another way for handling fonts. I'm not sure your problem is a font problem; "it should just work" :)
Btw, XPDF is a somewhat 'old' program (at least it looks old :) ), so try another program.
