problem to install j2sdk1.3 j2re1.3
fellas, i wanna try to install the j2sdk1.3 on the debian, but i get the following errors:
apt-get -f install j2sdk1.3 j2re1.3 Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies: j2re1.3: Depends: locales but it is not going to be installed E: Sorry, broken packages anybody can help me? |
i'd try downloading source packages from http://java.sun.com. i use jre now, but when i worked on RedHat i used sdk once, and that's how i installed it.
