problem ripping Mp3 with k3b/dolphin : files don't exist

hello
when i want to rip some mp3, either with k3b or using dolphin,
the ripping seems ok but there are no files mp3 in the concerned directory!!!
I really don't understand what's happening!
Please help!

Interesting,just viewed the link posted and it shows the user demonstrating running k3b with sudo permission?.
Also it doesn't tell you that in order to rip audio files and convert them to mp3's you need to have Lame installed.
I would also check where you have set k3b to copy files to,something like /home/user/music.
Is it just mp3 you are having problems with,or do other formats work such as ogg?.

Yes, he put up a little note about the sudo saying he had to (wanted to) do it but not everybody does. There's that little routine that you can run from k3b that sorts out the permissions for you.

Since I've always had lame installed, I don't know what k3b does if you don't have it and try to do stuff with mp3's. It may well complain and mention lame by name but I'm not sure about that.

i managed to rip mp3 reinstalling k3b and setting some options like "swap byte order" and something about front wav
Ogg worked fine already
