problem of using fork() in QT Designer


i am doing a project in linux using Qt Gui interface where i need to fork a process using fork() system call.when i compile the program,it
reports the error "fork() is not declared".but i knew that fork() doesn't need any header files.

plz help me to get rid of this problem.
