problem installing wine

Hello!

Complete linux newbie wondering why wine gives me the following error:

*** Warning: X development files not found. Wine will be built without
*** X support, which currently does not work, and would probably not be
*** what you want anyway. You will need to install devel packages of
*** Xlib/Xfree86 at the very least.

even though my package manager says I have it installed :|
what package is it reffering to?

if anyone can help me with a newbie step-by-step installation of wine (using SuSE 9.0)

the XFree86-devel package, not just the XFree86 one ... just like it says in the error ..

so im guessing that would be an rpm on one of the 3 suse cds right.. ?

well i have never used suse before, but i am willling to bet that yes it is on one of them cds, or you can just grab it from rpmfind.net or somewheres, if you can't find it on one of the cd's
