I recently custom built a new high end computer and I wanted to install SUSE 10 x86_64 alongside XP Pro. When I try to install SUSE, Mandrake, or even Ubuntu, it goes through the initial loading steps, and then the screen blanks and nothing happens. My specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego @ 2.41 Ghz
EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra (nForce 4 chipset) rev. A3 - Bios version 6.00 PG
2 sticks of Mushkin 512mb PC3200
Plextor DVDR PX-740A
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 PCI Express 16x
Western Digital 74gb 10,000 RPM SATA HDD

Any help/tips would be greatly appriciated.

have you just tried booting a live CD distro like knoppix, kanotix, Ubuntu live, etc etc ???

Cos if it won't boot one of them then there might be something "amiss"!
