Problem installing firefox

Hi,

I'm getting this message when trying to run firefox:

[root@localhost firefox]# ./firefox
./firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory

What software do I need to install to get the library it is complaining about and where can I find it?

My system has libgtk-x11-1.3

Thanks.

Syed

Because firefox using libgtk-x11-2.0 so here is the way to overcome your problem : update your libgtk-x11 to version 2.0 at http://rpm.sh-linux.org/rpm-index-20...-2.0.so.0.html .
Make sure that libgtk-x11-2.0* should locate on /usr/lib or somewhere that firefox could recognize .

Hope it help you .
