i recently installed mint 6 (felicia)..i need to install skype on it. I downloaded debian package from
http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linu... ... when i click it to install, the first message appears:
" an older version is available in a software channel.
Generally you are recommended to install the version from the software channel, since it is usually better supported."
there is only option of doing it ok.
after it when i click install package...after some time a message appears..
"could not download all required files.
please check your Internet connection or installation medium."
whereas, my Internet is working. i am able to browse the net. so there seems no problem with Internet.
no idea about the "installation medium"
