problem in installing LINUX?


Hi...!
I am faceing problem in insatalling LINUX on my system, conifuration of my system is PIII 735, and motherboard "KOB 810e FST",the board has inbuilt VGA, the main problem is the system reboots at the biginning of the installation. My hardisk is working fine and

I tried almost all versions like RED HAT 9, fedora.. etc.. and even tried to boot using the bootable floppy of linux but still the the system restarts..

Maybe you have a totally uncompatible motherboard that linux don't like at all :/

You can check at HCL in this forum for you motherboard. Do you have this reboots on all distros you have tryed out??

How much RAM is installed in this PC?
At what step does the installer reboot?

check out the hardware compatibilty list at the vendor's website(redhat.com)

could u pl. specify upto what point does the installation go ???
