Problem in Firefox in F12


Hello frnds, i recently installed fedora 12 freshly on my system. Later i installed firefox from fedora dvd. After it i install Adobe Flash 10.58 plugin to see videos or play games. But i m not able to do so. As firefox doesnt run video by flash player. I tried updating firefox. reinstalling firefox and adobe flash plugin but all in vain. Tell me frnds what should i do.HELP PLS

Spell out your words.

And it would help if you told us what the problem was, too. Saying "I'm not able to do so", doesn't give us many clues.

Manually place libflashplayer.so file from flashplayer10 tar.gz to firefox plugin directory.
for me firefox plugin directory is at "/usr/lib/firefox/plugins/"

That's only if you have it installed via .tar file, not via package/repo. You should copy it to $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/<something>/plugins, but the OP hasn't said WHAT problem they're having.

I use the instructions on Dangermouse's website. He authored the Autoten utility for Fedora which can be used to install flash on Fedora, but this link has the instructions. I usually copy & paste them into a terminal, it hasn't failed me yet.
