problem in bittorrent and twisted.python

hi all,

i'm a newbie in torrent thingy, but trying to learn bout it make use of it.

i'm facing problem with bittorrnet in slackware. i've installed the bittorrent using installpkg, and then it prompted that i need python 2.4 because the bittorrent couldn't find /usr/bin/pyhton2.4

ok, then i installed python2.4 using installpkg. then, i tried to run bittorrent and it said that 'module twisted.python not found'

then i search for twisted.python, and install it using istallpkg. but when i tried to run bittorrent, the same error come out, twisted.python not found.

so, can some please tell me how do i fix this so i can use bittorent in my slack box.

thanks in advance.
