problem compiling faac 2.5

I'm trying to get support for m4a files in xmms. When I run autoreconf -vif I get the following error:

Code: installing `./missing'
common/mp4ff/ installing `./compile'
common/mp4ff/ installing `./depcomp'
plugins/ required directory plugins/bmp does not exist
plugins/xmms/src/ libdir was already defined in condition TRUE, which includes condition HAVE_BMP ... ... `libdir' previously defined here
plugins/xmms/src/ libdir was already defined in condition TRUE, which includes condition !HAVE_BMP ... ... `libdir' previously defined here installing `./INSTALL'
autoreconf: automake failed with exit status: 1
I'm guessing the bolded line is my problem but I have no idea what to do to fix it and neither does google. Please help. I'm running slackware 11.

I think you meant you are trying to compile faad2, not faac...

Anyway, apply this patch to the faad2-2.5 source code to get rid of that "bmp" error:
