printing japanese characters...

Hi folks,

I'll cut to the chase so I don't waste much time.

I'm running suse 9.0 (relatively up-to-date), and I have a Xerox Docuprint N17 b/w laser printer. I am tyring to print a web page that is 1/2 regular english (that part prints fine), but the kanji (japanese characters), which show up fine in the browser, are printed as squares.

Is it a cups module I am missing? or some system-wide language issue????

Any help, or point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance - tw
