Printer problem with mandake Linux 9.2
 

Hi all
I was trying to add printer to my machine but could not add. Actually, our IT support staff did. It seems that it does find the network printer.It does not recognize even local printer.
This is a network printer. I am using mandrake control center where their is also an option for CUPS.
One thing that I found out that when my system boots , i get an error message saying - failed to bring eth0 interface.
Is it because of that?
Do I need to configure LAN setting prior to adding printer, howver I am able to access internet/email server - I guess becuase of DHCP.
How should I proceed.
