Print Jobs not appearing

I am having a really strange problem. I am using FLPhoto to print some photos. Everything goes great till I try printing them. It tells me the print job has gone to the printer. But nothing appeared in the printer jobs menu. So I wait for 5 minuetes and nothing happens. So I try again. I restart system and the moment I log out it starts printing.
It is okay but then starts printing 4 more photoes so I switch printer off. Now I cant purge the document being printed and every time I boot up with the printer on it does the same thing. I know one sheet may not seem like a lot but I have a bit of ink left and need to finish my holiday album tonight. Thanks for any advice.
