Prevent VPNC from overwriting /etc/resolv.conf
 
Hi
Each time I run vpnc it overwrites my resolv.conf file on Debian. I do not want that to happen but I do not want to use chattr +i on the file. Any hints please ?

Most init scripts have a setting about KEEPRESOLV, e.g. DHCP_KEEPRESOLV

grok the script, if there is one.
