choor,

welcome to LQ!

You should have created your own new thread for your question, rather than tack your question onto another thread. Also, you will need to provide much more information about your problem, if others are to be able to help you.

Please wait a little bit, and I will have your question moved off to its own thread, where you can provide more information about your problem.

Kind regards,
Sasha

seeing as fedora STOPPED using "NetworkManager" on fedora 9 and is NOW using "Network" as default since 9
The Daemon "network" is used and has been used ( fedora 9,10,11,and 12 )

it should Auto detect and set up during install

Is this a NEW and CLEAN install of fedora 12 -- or what --

Feb 27 02:31:37 localhost NetworkManager: <info> VPN service 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp' started (org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp), PID 10382

Feb 27 02:31:37 localhost pppd[10385]: Plugin /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.4/nm-pptp-pppd-plugin.so is for pppd version 2.4.4, this is 2.4.5
Feb 27 02:31:37 localhost NetworkManager: <info> VPN plugin failed: 0

Feb 27 02:31:37 localhost NetworkManager: <info> VPN plugin state change reason: 10
Feb 27 02:31:37 localhost NetworkManager: <WARN> connection_state_changed(): Could not process the request because no VPN connection was active.
Feb 27 02:31:38 localhost NetworkManager: <info> Policy set 'Auto Evergreen' (wlan0) as default for routing and DNS.
But now i've found solution on similar forum: forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=1335089
Just "yum downgrade ppp", and now all works.
