Postfix Start Error
 

Hi all,

I've trying to build a Redhat 9 spamfilter server using postfix.

I have been following the instructions at freespamfilter.org/rh9config.html

I have just gotten to the part to start postfix for the first time and it has come back with the following error

postfix: fatal: config variable inet_interfaces: host not found: localhost

I am new to Linux so am at a complete loss to fix the error.

Can anyone help.

Try looking in /etc/hosts.
It should at least contain the definition of "localhost" as "127.0.0.1" as well
as your hostname and it's (external) IP address (if no DHCP is used).
