postfix newbie: how do I create an email address?

Fedora 9... with
postfix, dovecot and squirrelmail installed

I'm using webmin 1.430 to configure postfix-2.5.1-2 on my Fedora 9 machine.
In order to start using postfix I've got to create an email address for my domain name - eg myname@mydomain.com, but I can't see where I do this in the webmin interface. Naturally the email address I create will also need a username and password with it - I've been looking all over the webmin page but I can't see where I'm supposed to do this.

Unless you are using virtual users (and it doesn't sound like you are), postfix will expect normal *nix users, so create a user in the normal way as you would for any new user.

Not sure how you do that in webmin, but from the command line you'd simply use the useradd/ or adduser command.

Once that user is created, you should be able to send them mail.

ok thanks for your response billy, I did the add user thing and I think I might be getting there slowly. I'm still not receiving any mail but I think that might be a problem with the MX Record on my domian name.
What's a virtual user?
